How to Set Up RSVP Questions
For both Events and Event Parts, creating RSVP questions is the same process, but with slightly different options.
First, navigate to the Event or Event Part for which you wish to set up RSVP questions. Then, select either People or Places. For Events, you will have two attendance options: "All Attending" and "Ask If Attending". “All Attending” means that all People or Places are locked as attending. This is useful if you have an Event where you are certain that everyone or every location is attending. “Ask If Attending” will ask each participant or location whether they are attending the Event Part. By default, they will be “Undecided”.
Event Parts also have "Ask If Attending", but instead of "All Attending" they have an option called: “Link Attending”. "Link Attending" means that you will assume all People or Places on the List will have the same Event Part attendance status as the overall Event. That is to say that if a person or location is attending the overall Event, they must attend this Event Part and vice versa. “Link Attending” is useful for Lists such as tents for campouts where all tents where presence at the Event means availability for Event Parts.
All changes made to Event or Event Part RSVP questions are saved instantaneously, so when you have finished editing the attendance settings, you can simply click another tab to move on in the Event management process.
