Send is a powerful and multi-faceted component of creating an Event in Eventene. Send allows you to ask questions of your participants/contacts, send updates about Events, and make assignments available to participants/contacts. These options let you easily communicate with the people in your Event. If you don’t wish to use Send, you can proceed immediately to assigning people or sending Reports.
Send Questions allows you to ask for information from either participants or contacts filtered by individual or Event Parts, relying on questions you created during the Build phase. For example, you can use Send Questions to ask all the drivers in the Event Part “Carpool” how many people their car can hold. You could also use Send Questions to ask about meal preference, date availability, attendance, or participants’ home addresses. Regardless of what you wish to ask, you will build out questions based on Event Part in the Build Stage. Send Questions simply allows you to send the questionnaire emails to participants/contacts and edit the email settings.
You can also use Send to reach your Event attendees with updates or notifications about the Event. Suppose the time of an Event Part is pushed back by an hour or you need to tell everyone that the Event is cancelled. Send Update allows you to quickly reach all of your participants or contacts with that information. This will also send notifications to all of the mobile users via the mobile app.
After completing the Assign stage, you'll want to make these assignments available to participants and contacts. Send allows you to easily direct participants or contacts to their respective assignments. You can also make assignments available from with the Publish stage; however, this will not send an email notification like Send will. Furthermore, sending assignments will automatically make Assignments available to participants and contacts once sent.
While Track is a separate tab from Send, the two are directly linked. Once you have sent questions, you can use the Track feature to see both high-level and individual responses. Track will also allow you to see information related to your emails, such as how many recipients have opened an email, how many emails have bounced, and how many recipients have selected “unsubscribe.”
You can view Tracking for the overall Event or for any specific Event Part. Regardless, the Tracking is divided by People and Places Lists since Send is also divided this way. Tracking can also be used to view individual responses, send out reminders, and see a summary of question responses.
